S.A.S.L. is primarily a men's league for recreational players.  You must be at least twenty-one years old to participate. There are five divisions this season; 21 & Over, 1st & 2nd Divisions, 40 & Over, 1st & 2nd Divisions and 50 & Over, 1st Division.  We play two seasons, Fall (starting in September) and Winter (starting in January).  Each season includes 10 games.

We have been doing this for over twenty years.  The league currently has thirty six teams.  SASL is affiliated with the USA Soccer Federation/FIFA. If you are interested in playing soccer in the Sacramento area, please let us know.

What's New & Reminders

Super Bowl Sunday, February 7th Due to current field conditions and recent rains, the games scheduled for this Sunday have been canceled.  They will be made up at the end of the season. Winter Season  Schedules   Craig Chalmers Juventus 40 and previously with the Rangers On January 11, 2010, our beloved brother and friend, Craig Chalmers, passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack. Craig was gifted in so many ways. He was a talented soccer player and golfer. He was a master craftsman, who shared not only his vision, but his drive and expertise with those fortunate to be involved with Bidwell Design and Build. He was quite simply the best friend, the best advisor, the best brother, and the best uncle we could have asked for.
